Five years ago we launched our first website that was mainly just photos and information about local services and the odd event post. Since then a lot of water has went under the Erskine Bridge – we’ve created a much bigger website and we are now on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

The plan is simple, to grow our local community online and to help local people let others know about whats going on locally. To make our groups and activities better by boosting the numbers and to share events and entertainment so that we never get bored. And to support local businesses as and when we can.

Here’s a bit more about what is going on at present…

Do you run a local group? If so we are offering you a dedicated page for your group. We want to help all local groups and activities for kids and adults communicate with the local people of Old Kilpatrick. Find out more on the website.

Gavinburn Primary have their own Twitter feed working on the website with links to their official website on there too. Our aim is to make it easier for parents and guardians to keep in touch with what’s going on at the school.

Coming soon there will be business advertising for local businesses. I’ll be using my 13 years experience in design and marketing to help the local businesses communicate with local people using a number of different strategies and via our ‘Think Local’ campaigns.

We look forward to keeping you updated on the site and across our social networks, don’t forget to follow us on all of our social pages. We’d love it if you could help us spread the word and get the numbers up. Just like and share as much as you can because BIG things are coming in the summer!
